Abby has recently gotten into Legos. More specifically the Lego Friends line.
So, over the weekend she used some of the money she got for Valentine's Day to buy a new set.
So, over the weekend she used some of the money she got for Valentine's Day to buy a new set.
And since Tuesday was a cold, rainy day here, it was the perfect day to bust out the new Legos.
Though she put most of the set together by herself, towards the end she needed some help with a few of the more intricate pieces.
The last thing she asked me to do was to put the Lego carrot in the Lego girl's hand.
So I did.
And that's when I noticed it.
The carrot and the girl were almost the same size.
So I was either looking at a giant carrot or a teeny tiny girl.
So I was either looking at a giant carrot or a teeny tiny girl.
My bets were on the carrot being giant.
To confirm my suspicion, I decided to do a few comparisons of these two items to some of the other pieces in her set.

Comparison #1: The Girl, The Carrot & The Pony
Okay, the girl looks to be the appropriate size when compared to the pony.
The carrot?
As tall as the pony.
Cause that happens in real life.
Comparison #2: The Girl, The Carrot & The Wheelbarrow

Comparison #2: The Girl, The Carrot & The Wheelbarrow
Once again, the girl and the wheelbarrow seem to be to scale.
And the carrot?
Okay, seriously Lego.
Please tell me what good a wheelbarrow is if it carries the exact amount I can carry IN MY HAND.

Comparison #3: The Girl, The Carrot & A Car From Another Lego Friends Set
so does the carrot.
Now, I know that Lego has the ability to make smaller items.
While working on this Lego set, I helped Abby put together a water bucket so tiny I almost needed a pair of tweezers to pick up the pieces.
If they can make appropriately sized water buckets, then why am I looking at this?

I realize, in theory, he should be thrilled.
But, honestly, how long do you think this bunny's joy is going to last once he realizes he's got to take down a carrot twice his size?

Haha! The HOV lane is hilarious.
